Obliquies

Life has been full of rotation lately - lots of raking up the new backyard (turning a forest into a useable space is HARD work omg) and cleaning up some serious water damage at one of the OTF studios I coach at has brought a TON of oblique activation into the mix and it's inspired me! I thought it might be time to do another rotation focused theme week.

Our obliques are the lateral abdominal muscles that aid in rotation and stability and this week we're going to utilize them in Obliquies! Grab your weights and get ready to rotate this week. Can't wait to see you on the mat!

Class Formats

Strength Flow

Strength Flow is KDH’s signature format. It takes you through a pilates & barre-inspired flow that focuses on muscle endurance to strengthen. This high-intensity, low-impact workout is designed to send your body some spicy, flowy love anytime, anywhere. Most classes are bodyweight only but feel free to add weight if your body is calling for it!

Strength Flow: Elevated

Strength Flow: Elevated takes our favorite grounding and low-impact energy from Strength Flow and adds a little more spice. Agility and endurance-focused, Strength Flow: Elevated aims to elevate your heart rate in a dynamic way.

Restorative Stretch

Restorative Stretch is the perfect class to start out your week. This slow and stretchy class is designed to calm your nervous system, stretch your muscles, and recover from more intense movement (or life). It’s a reminder that rest is just as important as movement to get stronger.
